Dr. Xiaolin Sun's research interests mainly focus on novel therapeutic targets and biomarkers in rheumatic diseases including Rheumatoid Arthritis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Sjögren’s Syndrome, etc. He has over 30 publications s in this field, and is working on the effects of low-dose IL-2 therapy in Treg compartments and interactions between IL-2 and other anti-rheumatic drugs.
Dr. Sun is now serving as a committee member for Division of Precision Medicine, Society for Geriatric Care Medicine of China and the editorial board of Progress of Microbiology & Immunology, reviewer for the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He was invited for the translation (partly) and translational editor board of Kelley’s Textbook of Rheumatology (the 8th, 9th and 10th edition), the translation of Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine Rheumatology (the 19th edition).
